How long can we live? What are the consequences of increased longevity? These are the main questions that trigger my research interests. I see formal demography as the main vehicle to address such questions. However, my research is very interdisciplinary as it incorporates aspects from public health, epidemiology, actuarial science along with a touch of evolutionary biology.
I have a vast experience working in the private sector in management and consulting, which has given me a unique perspective on how to solve practical issues concerning my research. Teamwork and critical thinking define the way I work.
I’m an amateur photographer and a soon to be ukulele player.
