Research Interests: Literary representations of last years of life, life endings/narrative endings, poetry of aging
Nicklas Freisleben Lund is a postdoc at the Danish Aging Research Center/ Department for the Study of Culture. His current research areas include representations of aging and the last years of life in, primarily, contemporary Danish and Scandinavian fiction and poetry. He has published several articles on contemporary and modern literature. His PhD dissertation "In Ambivalent Battle. The Novel and the Strike, 1850-1950" (University of Copenhagen, 2018) was awarded The Danish Society for Working-Class History's annual academic prize in 2019.
