Screening company maturity in applying AM technologies

Over two years (2018-2019) a screening program of the Additive Manufacturing impact on Danish manufacturing industry in collaboration with SDU-SAMF and AM-Hub Denmark has been conducted. This program supply data for the annual report of AM in the Danish Industry, AM hub 'Industriens Fond'.

The purpose of the screening is to gather industrial data across the manufacturing industry concerning, 3D print technologies, services and domains combined with a large number of characteristics within innovation, maturity and financial performance.

Additive manufacturing is a complex technology with cross disciplinary implications between, technology, design, materials and operations management.
Therefore, a need exits for decision models of selection of both relevant print components, selection and integration of AM technologies, implications of AM integration in production systems and value streams.

Until now there have been published two public reports of the findings, highlights and recommendations:

Udbredelsen af 3D print og Additive Manufacturing i dansk industri: Resultaterne fra den danske screening - 2019

Udbredelsen af 3D print og Additive Manufacturing i dansk industri: Resultaterne fra den danske screening - 2018
