Tailored training of individuals or teams in following (and other) procedures:
- Tissue and organ disection
- Surgical implantation of devices such as osmotic pumps to deliver drug agents
- Catheterization of major arteries and veins (aorta, carotid artery or femoral artery, jugular ane femoral veins)
- Implantation of telemetry systems for monitoring of blood pressure
- Vessel occlusion or blood flow restriction inducing organ or tissue ischemia
- Spinal cord transection
- Electrical nerve stimulation
- Electrode implantation for neural activity recording
- Intrathecal injections and catheter implantations
- Implantation of tubing into hollow organs for pressure measurement
- Esophagus, small and large bowel anastomosis
- Inducing aortic aneurysm
- Kidney transplant
- Collecting sterile urine sample via suprapubic aspiration or bladder catheter for urinalysis
- Surgical procedures on anesthetized rodent pups
