COORDICY presented at New York Energy Week

Last week a delegration of 5 from Center for Energy Informatics attended the New York Energy Week to present the research project COORDICY.

The highlight of the week was Thursday when the representatives from the Center for Energy Informatics presented the research project COORDICY at the workshops:
Workshop 1:  Energy Performance: Closing the Gab and Utilizing the Potential

Workshop 2: Energy Retrofitting: Model and Data Driven Approaches

The first workshop giving the audience insights into model and data driven approaches to building energy efficiency and the second focusing on deep energy retrofitting, including application of sustainable building materials.

The workshops was followed by a panel debate on the topic: "The Future of Demand-Side Management: The Intelligent Building" where Head of Center Bo Nørregaard Jørgensen and Deputy Director/Partnerships at NASA Rose Grymes also part of the COORDICY project was in the panel.

Head of Center Bo Nørregaard Jørgensen and Associate Professor Mikkel Baun Kjærgaard landed in New York on Monday and was followed by Associate Professor Christian Veje, Assistant Professor Muhyiddine Jradi and Post Doc Krzysztof Arendt on Tuesday leaving time for several interesting meetings through out the week. This gave the delegation interesting insight into energy retrofitting in the US, but was also a welcome opportunity to present the interesting research in the COORDICY project. The meetings showed opportunities for new and interesting collaboration between Denmark and the US.
