Opening of the House of Green in New York

September 22nd His Royal Highness Crown Prins Frederik of Denmark opened the House of Green exhibit in New York. Head of Centre, Professor WSR Bo Nørregaard Jørgensen vas invited to the event.

The House of Green exhibition is a permanent exhibition located at the Urban Future Lab in New York - New York's leading centre within clean tech. House of Green in New York will be a showcase for Danish clean tech solutions. Thus providing one point of entry to for Americans interested in green technology and sustainability from one of the world leaders in the area - Denmark.

His Royal Highness Crown Prins Frederik of Denmark marked the official opening by cutting the red ribbon. But also other high level officials from Denmark and New York participated. Among others the Danish Minister for Climate, Energy and Buildings Rasmus Helweg Petersen and the Lord Mayor of Copenhagen Frank Jensen.

The opening was part of the NYC Climate Week.

The House of Green exhibition is funded by The Danish Industry Foundation, and is a part of the Danish Cleantech Hub – a US-Danish public private partnership aiming to facilitate new partnerships and connecting New York to Danish cleantech solutions.
