Ongoing project: Designing for situated computational thinking with computational things.


A popular belief is that Computational Thinking skills trained in one subject can be reapplied in unmodified form to others. But research fails to confirm this belief. Our projects aim is to develop and empirically assess research-grounded, philosophically consistent, operationalizable pedagogical designs for CT which take the situativity of the skills into account.

It’s also central for the project to make use of Computational things for motivation for learners to development skills assigned into the field of computational thinking.

The project is a 3-year long program based on empirically research to design a foundation on for CT-pedagogics in all education’s levels. From primary schools, high schools and further education levels. Two Post.doc and one ph´d is employed .
