Occupational requirements for Master’s programmes for working professionals

When you apply for a Master’s programme for working professionals, it is not only the educational entry requirements that must be met, but also requirements for relevant occupation.

A concrete evaluation will be made of each applicant’s occupational tasks to determine whether the requirements for relevant occupation are met.

Below you will find our guidelines and links to the documents regarding occupation which must be filled out and uploaded in your application. Please note, that different kinds of occupation require different forms.

IMPORTANT: SDU only accepts the below-mentioned documents as solemn declaration and proof of occupation.

Remember to save the documents to your computer before filling them out.

You must document that you are employed in a position relevant to the programme for a minimum of 25 hours per week on average. In collaboration with your employer, you must have arranged a work schedule, which allows you to complete the Master’s programme within 4 years. To document this, you must fill out and sign the following forms:

The solemn declaration must be uploaded to the application portal when you submit your application. Without this declaration, you cannot be admitted

This statement must be submitted no later than August 1st for study start in September and January 1st for study start in February – and preferably when submitting the application. Enclosures can either be submitted through the application portal when applying or be sent through SPOC (choose Admission --> Master).

You must document that you are self-employed with a company relevant to the programme for a minimum of 25 hours per week on average. Your company must be registered and have a revenue and activities that generate earnings. To document this, you must fill out and sign the following forms:

All the above-mentioned enclosures regarding your company must be submitted through the application portal when you submit your application. Missing enclosures will mean that you cannot be admitted to the programme.

You must document that you work as an entrepreneur with a relevant independent company for a minimum of 25 hours per week on average. Your company must be registered, and either have a revenue and activities that generate earnings or be affiliated with a public or private entrepreneurial milieu. To document this, you must fill out and sign the following forms:

All the above-mentioned enclosures regarding your company must be submitted through the application portal when you submit your application. Missing enclosures will mean that you cannot be admitted to the programme.
