What is uniTEST?
uniTEST is a test of your general prerequisites for completing a university education. It is a multiple-choice test that consists of 95 questions and lasts 2½ hours. You will be asked questions to uncover your ability to:
- analyse, argue and make decisions (critical thinking)
- solve problems based on general quantitative information such as numbers, spreadsheets and graphs (quantitative thinking)
- understand a text as well as the social and cultural contexts it is an expression of (linguistic thinking).
The test is held online from 5-20 April, 2024
The test is taken from home on your own computer, and your test participation will be monitored via webcam. You will be assigned a specific time and date in the period 5-20 April.

Progressing from the test
The test consists of 95 questions, and you can achieve between 0 and 100 points. Please note that the test score is not a simple count of correct answers.
You need at least 35 points to pass the test (25 if you are applying for a BEng-programme). Passing the test means that you are in the pool of applicants with a possibility of progressing, either to a programme specific test or directly to admission depending on the programme. To actually progress may require a higher score depending on the number of applicants and how other applicants perform.
If you do not pass the test, you cannot achieve a study places in quota 2 - regardless of the number of applicants.
