Associate professor Isabel Casas has been awarded DKK 85,000 from #Carlsbergfoundation for a research stay: “Financial assessment of electricity trading from Mutriku, a successful wave power plant”. She will travel to the Basque Country, to collect data from the world’s first commercial wave power plant, to collect production data and develop a model to forecast Mutriku’s energy production for different time-horizons. The project is aimed at finding the best forecasting model of electricity, to advise the most efficient trading strategy under the EU electricity market model. It contributes to SDG 7:
