Introduction to Cybersecurity

We introduce DevSecOps, a combination of cultural philosophies, practices, and tools that is getting traction in the software development industry.

DevSecOps allows for delivering safer applications and services at high velocity, as well as for evolving and improving products at a faster pace than organizations using traditional software development and infrastructure management processes.

In the course you will go through the following elements:

  • Introduction of DevOps.
  • Software development pipeline.
  • Security measures for the software pipeline.
  • Google's approach to delivering reliable software.

With the introduction course in Cybersecurity you will be able to:

  • Understand the cultural shift needed and the state-of-the-art methodology to develop secure software at pace.
  • Understand security checks and tests needed to develop secure software.

Managers, software team leaders and people with some programming experience (no specific IT-background needed).
