I am researching how young Danish children (ages 4 to 6) play with a highly popular app provided by the Danish public broadcaster, Danmarks Radio. Tablet computers permeate the everyday lives of Danish children with a world record access rate of 95% in the home. With this project I seek to understand what young Danish children's tablet computer play looks like by investigating the most popular app within their target age group. The app is part of DR Ramasjang’s transmedia environment consisting of television programs, merchandise, literature and live events.
