A Luhmann-inspird approach til include neuroscientific/cognitive knowledge concerning adolescent's motivation for learning in high school instruction.

My Ph.D. Project intends to develop Luhmann’s social systems theory in order to describe and analyse the dialogue between neuroscience/cognitive science and the field of education, as well as describing and analysing the research field exploring neuronal/cognitive aspects of motivation for learning in adolescence. Finally, it will be suggested how these insights can contribute to didactics related to upper secondary education.
