Forskning:

Jeg arbejder bredt med transport, produktion og omsætning af organisk materiale og nærringsstoffer i akvatiske miljø.  

Det inkluderer blandt andet 1) primær produktion i havis og sedimenter, 2) mikrobiel omsætning i sedimenter  fra kystzonen til de største dybder i oceanerne, 3) omsætning og dynamik i synkende partikler, 4) Zooplankton og stof omsætning, 5) effekter af temperatur, hydrostatisk tryk, vand flow for udveksling og omsætning af materiale, 6) sediment re-suspension, 7) betydning af fauna adfærd for materialiseringsprocesser  og stof udveksling.
