Morten Larsen, Asst. Prof., Nordcee

Research area:

My main research is focused on the study of biological, physical and chemical process in marine ecosystems, including the application and development of sensor and instruments. My research is primarily focused on sediment carbon mineralization and nitrogen cycling, and furthermore O2 in oxygen minimum zones. A large part of this research has been enabled through the optimization and development of novel optical sensors and instruments for single point and imaging applications
