Direct Detection of Dark Matter

Projektbeskrivelse

The project will focus on attempts to directly verify the existence of Dark Matter in the laboratory – the so-called direct detection experiments, such as XENON and CDMS.

Based on the DM velocity distribution and particle physics interactions, we will predict the rate of scattering of DM in the experiments and compare with experimental data.
