People News from the Faculty of Science, week 25

At the Faculty's Poster Session, Biology students Jens Kobæk Eg Larsen, Jakob Bang Rønning and Viktor Hundtofte Mebus won the Research Prize for their poster: Plastic: A hazard to the marine environment. Supervisors: Claudia Wiegand and Hannah Weber.

At the Faculty's Poster Session, students Andreas Fønss Møller, Brian Kenn Baltzar, Monica Kieu Mi Thi Nguyen and Pernille Vigsø Rasmussen from the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology won the Innovation Prize for their poster: DNA teknologi – kan der laves noget meningsfuldt med to uger i laboratoriet? Supervisor: Finn Kirpekar.

At the Faculty's Poster Session, students Egzon Nikqi, Hashmatullah Nasimi, Khalid Essam Abdel-Raouf Amar, Kirishana Rajakulendran and Kofi Edward Sekyi Amonoo from the Department of Physics, Chemistry and Pharmacy won the Audience Award for their poster: Lægemidler, gifte og NMR.

Associate Professor Mads Toudal Frandsen, Department of Physics, Chemistry and Pharmacy, has been admitted as a member of the Royal Danish Academy of Sciences and Letters (in Danish: Videnskabernes Selskab - Det Unge Akademi).

Roman Zwicky, Professor, DSc, has been appointed Adjunct Professor in Physics at the Faculty of Science.
