New rule from FSØ about project numbers

When a grant application is successful, the project gets a project number from SDU. From now on, in order to create a new project number, FSØ needs to see the grant application. Please submit all applications to Hanne Dahl Mortensen ( for registration in Panda.

Open calls

From 1 January 2013, it is again possible to apply for EUopSTART. The aim with EUopSTART is to intensify the internationalization of Danish research and strengthen the interaction between research institutions and companies about research and innovation. One can apply for funding to the following activities:
- Preparation of application to European/international research programmes
- Negotiation of a European/international grant agreement

Hallas-Møller Stipendium (five year grant)
Five year grants for younger researchers to projects within Danish health- and natural science.
Deadline: 1 February, at 4PM.

Villum Foundation
Individual Postdoc grants
Deadline: 1 February 2013, at 12 noon

Research support from the Danish Cancer Society
The Danish Cancer Society calls for applications to the following funding schemes: Project related expenses; Stays abroad of long duration (covers salary and traveling and extra expenses); Stays abroad of long duration (covers traveling and extra expenses only); Participation in congresses and symposiums; Scholarships for students; and Guest speakers.

ERA-CAPS: "Expanding the European Research Area in Molecular Plant Sciences"
This first ERA-CAPS call will fund high quality collaborative transnational research in fundamental molecular plant science. The expected duration of projects will be three years. Danish partner: The Danish Agency for Science, Technology and Innovation (DASTI)

ERC Consolidator Grant
ERC Consolidator Grants boost the independent careers of excellent researchers by providing adequate support at the critical stage where they are consolidating their own independent research team or programme.
Deadline: 21 February 2013 at 5PM (Brussels local time)
