Professor Susanne Mandrup, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, has received DKK 1,050,000 from the Lundbeck Foundation for the project Lineage specific effects of glucocorticoids in mesenchymal stem cell differentiation.

 

Assistant professor Lars Grøntved, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, has received DKK 470,000 from the Lundbeck Foundation for the project Thyroid hormone receptor interaction with the genome in collaboration with Sheue-yann Cheng, NIH.

 

Student Patrick Rosendahl Andreassen, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, has received a Novo Scholarship for the project Identification and Characterization of Virulence Traits of Streptococcus pneumoniae with Associate Professor Jakob Møller-Jensen.

 

Ann-Britt Marcher, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, has defended her PhD thesis, The function of Acyl-CoA binding protein in metabolic homeostasis in mice.

 

Marianne Holmer, professor and head of the Department of Biology, has been appointed to the Board of Givskud Zoo.

 

Anna-Marie Klamt, Department of Biology, has defended her PhD thesis with the lecture Effects of external forcing on sedimentation and phosphorus binding in lakes.

 

Postdoc Pavel Shliaha, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, has received DKK 700,000 from the Lundbeck Foundation for the project Advancing epigenetic studies by development and application of novel technology for intact protein sequencing and characterisation: focus on stem cell and cancer biology.
