Christer Ejsing, Associate Professor, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, has been awarded the 2016 American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Young Investigator Award recognizing his outstanding research contribution to biochemistry and molecular biology. Christer Ejsing will present a lecture at the ASBMB Annual Meeting, the world’s largest conference on cell biology. Christer Ejsing is currently a visiting fellow at UC Berkeley.
Antoaneta Belcheva is new Assistant Professor at Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Her research focuses on the molecular and cellular mechanisms that interconnect gut microbiota and colon tumorigenesis. She will be collaborating with Associate Professor Barbara Guerra as well as the microbiology group.
