Maria Wilson , Postdoc at the Department of Biology, has received funding of DKK 1.2 M from the Carlsberg Founda­tion for the project Multi-modal sensing in aquatic predator/prey interactions.

 

 

 

 

 

Andreas Kjær, student at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, has received a Novo Scholarship for the project Structural investigation of type IV pili systems of Vibrio cholerae by electron cryotomography with Associate Professor Jakob Møller-Jensen.

 

 

 

 

Andrea Skelsgaard Pedersen, student at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, has received a Novo Scholarship for the project The role of CASZ1 and ZNF77 in browning of human adipocytes with Professor Susanne Mandrup.

 

 

 

Assistant Professor Lars Grøntved, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, has received DKK 800,000 from the Novo Nordisk Foundation for the project Transcriptional Signaling Networks Regulating Acute Hepatic Response to Feeding.

 

 

 

Weria Pezeshkian, Department of Physics, Chemistry and Pharmacy, has defended his PhD thesis, Protein aggregation, membrane curvature and tubular invagination: an exploration using computer simulations on atomistic to macroscopic length scales.

 

 

Maria Stahl Madsen, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, has defended her PhD thesis, The role for PPARγ Interacting Proteins in Transactivation and Adipogenesis.
