SDU Odense currently offers 141 different programmes divided between all five faculties, namely the Faculty of Humanities, the Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty of Business and Social Sciences, the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Health Sciences. Even though the programmes cover a wide field, the focus remains on strengthening the collaboration across programmes and faculties.
In addition to buildings used primarily for teaching purposes, SDU Odense also houses a variety of facilities such as a gym, a bicycle repair shop, an indoor swimming pool and the best athletics stadium in the world, according to the International Olympic Committee.
The day-to-day management and organisation of SDU Odense is handled by the university’s senior management.
