Create tomorrow's robots

There is a rapid development within information and robot technology, and with this degree you will be part of this development. You will work with the development of complex electronic circuits for controlling robot-based production systems, and you will gain an understanding of how a computer works and how computer technology can be integrated with the high-tech devices we surround ourselves with now and in the future.

What will I learn?

With a BSc in Engineering (Robot Systems) you will gain the qualifications to be able to lead the development of robot technology products, solve complex technical development tasks, collaborate on professional and interdisciplinary projects, develop mobile phones, web applications, security systems and much more. With skills in basic subjects such as mathematics, physics, computer science, electronics and computer technology, you will get an in-depth knowledge of both hardware and software and their interactions.

With a BSc in Engineering (Robot Systems) you will be able to utilise your knowledge in new contexts. Especially in areas where we today see development with the integration of computers in a multitude of products and systems.

How is the programme structured?

The programme consists of a combination of theoretical courses and practical project work. Each semester is based on a main theme which becomes the basis for the semester's theory and project work.
The focus in the first semester is on the basic control of robots. The theme in the second semester is autonomous robots. The third semester is all about mobile robot systems. In the fourth semester, the focus is on the regulation and control of robot systems. The theme in the fifth semester is an introduction to robots and artificial intelligence. You can also study this semester abroad. During the sixth semester you will write your bachelor project, based on all your knowledge from the previous semesters.

Master's Degree

The bachelor's programme lasts three years, after which you take the two-year master's programme to become a MSc in Engineering (Robot Systems). Here you choose to specialise in either Advanced Robotics Technology or Drones and Autonomous Systems. The master’s programme specialising in Drones and Autonomous Systems is in close collaboration with HCA Airport, and part of the training takes place at the airport. What can I become?

This qualification gives you gives you a number of career opportunities - both in Denmark and abroad. For example, you can work with the development of large programmes to solve the technical or administrative tasks for private and public companies. You can also work as a developer of robots, drones, mobile phones and networks. Furthermore, you can also continue with a 3-year researcher degree which leads to a PhD degree.
