Career opportunities

The principal aim of the programme is to educate today’s students to become philosophic practitioners of tomorrow. We do this in multiple learning environments that takes the challenges of that future practice into account from both research and practice perspectives. As such we have developed a unique approach to learning that we call Participatory Inquiry. The Participatory Inquiry process enables the students to bring theory acquired from their lectures or analysis into play with the theory and skills they discover through their own practices or in collaboration with tourism businesses and organisations.

Below you will find examples of jobs occupied by students who have successfully completed the Cand.Negot. Master’s Degree in International Tourism and Leisure Management. These include:

  • Tourism and Marketing Coordinator, Business Kolding
  • Tourism Coordinator, VisitKolding
  • Marketing Coordinator, the National Museum
  • Coordinator, Destination Management Organisation
  • Consultant, Region of Southern Denmark
  • PhD student, The University of Southern Denmark and MODUL University Vienna
  • Associate Lecturer, Lillebaelt Academy
