Knowledge and understanding
Students in the BSc in Economics and Business Administration (HA) gain knowledge of theory, methodology and practice within the fields of business economics, marketing, organisation, finance and accounting, as well as economics, business law and IT. Graduates will have gained the necessary knowledge to be able to reflect on theoretical issues, research methods and business practice.
Graduates of the BSc in Economics and Business Administration (HA) can apply scientific methods of collecting and analysing data to the description and analysis of a company. Further, graduates can assess business-economic problems and select relevant analytical and problem-solving models. They can communicate professionally with colleagues, company management and others.
Graduates can manage complex and development-oriented situations independently or in collaboration with others in a responsible manner that takes into account ethical issues and sustainability. Graduates can identify their own learning needs and structure their own learning process. They will be qualified for employment in private and public companies at middle management level.
