NordWel Summer School is a an intensive course organised by NordWel in every summer. Welfare states can be studied with a number of theoretical and methodological approaches, from various chronological perspectives and with a focus on different empirical phenomena. The summer school aims to stimulate discussions across disciplines and foster innovative cross-disciplinary research on the development of welfare states over time. These courses are meant to give students and young reserachers access to those scholars doing cutting-egde research in this field. They are directed to Nordic and foreign PhD students.
