Safe analysis and storage of your research data.
Why is OPEN Analyse a safe solution?
OPEN Analyse is an analysis environment where you as a researcher can perform analyses on your pseudoanonymised research data. The environment can be used as an analytical platform for both clinical studies as well as register research.
OPEN Analyse acts as a terminal server solution where the researcher's PC is the terminal and data is stored and processed securely on a server at the Regional IT. The analysis environment consists of disk space with logging of file access for treating pseudoanonymised data and analysis software in the form of STATA and R.
Who can use OPEN Analyse?
Projects that are or will be admitted to OPEN.
The use of OPEN Analyse is free of charge for researchers associated to Odense University Hospital and/or Department of Clinical Research, University of Southern Denmark (SDU).
With paying OPEN projects from other SDU institutions or hospitals in the Region of Southern Denmark (RSD), that already use or wish to use OPEN's REDCap installation, the few data management hours, that come with user creation and guidance for the use of OPEN Analysis, will be recorded as part of the 30 data management hours, which are usually covered by the project's standard payment and license agreement with OPEN. Therefore, no extra costs exist unless you need data manager hours beyond the agreed.
For projects from other SDU institutions or RSD hospitals that do not use or want to use REDCap but need access to OPEN Analyse for e.g. register research, the administration, access, operation and use of OPEN Analyse incl. 5 hours of data management will be charged with DKK 7,750 excl. VAT. For particularly complex projects, additional data management hours will be settled quarterly on an hourly basis.
How do I access OPEN Analyse?
You get access to OPEN Analyse by applying for the admission of your project into OPEN, application forms, etc. can be found at: Application for OPEN. If your project is already admitted into OPEN e.g. by using REDCap, you must simply send an email to email@example.com, then an addition to the existing license agreement will be made.
Please contact us, if you have needs, which currently cannot be honoured in the analysis environment,as OPEN Analyse is under continuous development.
