Brazilian-Danish strategic Research Collaboration in Food Science
FAPESP and the DCSR hereby invite researchers from universities, research institutions and private companies in the State of São Paulo, Brazil and Denmark who conduct research within the food science area, to apply for funding for joint Brazilian-Danish strategic research projects.
Deadline: May 2, 2014

Support is given for projects that are of general interest, offer free information sources for the public and do not receive support from other sources.

Vandsektorens Teknologiudviklingsfond 

The fond gives financial support to projects, which will develop new technology to improve the efficiency and quality of the water sector. The foundation supports development of instrumentation and pilot projects. Projects should include ecological aspects, contain new ideas, contribute to enhance quality and efficiency and possibly support export. One hydropowerplant should participate in the project.
The Foundation focuses this year on 'Future treatment plants' with 15 mil. DKK and on 'Future water supply' with 10 mil. DKK.

HTF, the Danish National Advanced Technology Foundation; call for Hightechnology Projects and Hightechnology Platforms
An advanced technology project is a partnership between one or more private companies and
one or more public sector research institutions. At the end of the funding period there should be a new product.

Deadline for an expression of interest: Januar 22, 2014

An advanced technology platform is a partnership between one or more private companies and one or more public sector research institutions. The aim is to develop new groundbreaking technology to open up new commercial activities within different fields for all partners.

From 1 January 2013, it is again possible to apply for EUopSTART. The aim with EUopSTART is to intensify the internationalization of Danish research and strengthen the interaction between research institutions and companies about research and innovation. One can apply for funding to the following activities:
- Preparation of application to European/international research programmes
- Negotiation of a European/international grant agreement
Deadline: Projects are supported as long as the foundation has money to do it.

Research Coupon (’Udvidet videnkupon’)
Small and medium sized companies can apply for a research coupon to have a university do research for them. A coupon gives between 250.000 - 1.000.000 DKK but needs 65 % cofinancing. If you work with a private company, it might be an idea to ask that company to apply. Details in Danish
