You have to be an elite athlete, referee or coach to be admitted to Syddansk Elite. The admission requirements to be admitted are specified on a list for all relevant branches of sport. The list is adjusted continuously.
To be admitted, applicants from soccer, handball, volleyball, badminton, basketball and ice hockey must at least practice their sport at the highest level in the national competition structure to be admitted. Soccer players at the second best level can be admitted if they have a part time or full time professional contract and have at least three daytime compulsory training sessions (9.00 to 17.00) weekly. In other branches of sport the applicants must compete at high international level.
If you exercise your sport at a lower level you can be admitted if you have been on a national youth team at the highest level in your sport within the last two years .
You must spend minimum 20 hours per week on training, competitions and other obligations in connection with your sport .
