Research and education in the Section of Civil and Architectural Engineering takes place in close collaboration with external partners. We look for collaborations that make our research relevant for Danish society, that make it relevant for Danish business, and that help us learn what matters to society and how our research would be used in practice. External partners are other universities, (research) institutions, technical associations, and industry in Denmark and abroad.
The design studios we teach are problem based and solution oriented. External collaborators help us set those problems, and introduce the students to the relevant context. We also invite practitioners to lecture in regular courses.
Currently we work with partners such as
- BLOXHUB, InnoBYG
- The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH),
- the Facade Tectonics Institute (FTI), the European Façade Network (EFN), Society of Façade Engineering (SFE)
- Danish Academy of Techical Sciences (ATV)
- Resilience Lab DK
- Erhvershus Fyn (Byggeklynge)
