You can find good advice and guidelines in the following instructions about copyright when preparing an educational program in E-learn.sdu.dk.
Remember that these instructions are written for members of staff at SDU using Elearn.sdu.dk and are not for use for homepages with public access.
The rules in brief:
You can place your own material on Elearn.sdu.dk, or material that the owner of the copyright has allowed you to use.
You can link to homepages, electronic journals, or databases.
You can put articles from e-journals and chapters from e-books on Elearn.sdu.dk, if the publishers allow Course packs (if not, you can only link to them).
You can put scanned materials on the page, if this is allowed according to the agreement that SDUB has with Copydan, or if the owner of the copyright permits it.
Do NOT link to homepages with illegal content.
You must make it clear who owns the copyright to the materials that are put on Elearn.sdu.dk, even if the material is not covered by copyright laws.
