Supply within 24 Hours Service

Materials requested before 12.00 noon, which are not on loan in one of the library’s departments will normally be ready to be picked up on the following working day at the latest 12.00 noon. A notice is sent by post or email (if you have signed up for e-mail-service), when  the requested material is ready to be picked up.
You can see a message in your User status in the Library’s catalogue as soon as the material is ready to be picked up. You can in this way via the library’s web find out if you have material ready to be picked up before you go to the library.
You are, of course, always welcome to ask at the library’s lending desks if you have material waiting to be picked up.

Material must be picked up within 8 days.

If material is requested after 12.00 noon, then you can first be sure it will be there after 12.00 noon on day 2 after making the request.

With regards to the reservation of material, which is on loan or requests for books and journals, it is necessary to borrow from other libraries, then notices will still be sent by post or email (if you have signed up for e-mail-service), when the material is ready to be picked up.

Books and journals, which are located in the Medical Research Library/OUH or, which are in the process of acquisition are not included in the supply within 24 hours service declaration and notices will still be sent out  by post or email(if you have signed up for e-mail-service), when the material is ready to be picked up.
