Elect in Modern Culture, Welfare and Marketing Knowledge in Scandinavia addresses bachelor students at the Faculties of Humanities and Social Sciences as well as exchange students and students from partner universities.
The elect offers qualifications in Danish/Scandinavian culture, history, marketing, welfare state theory, and social science. It offers skills within the areas of cultural exchange and marketing. You will learn to characterize cultural profiles of a market in relation to everyday culture, habits, and life style aiming at efficient communication and marketing.
You acquire knowledge of the myths and social interactions which interplay with material culture and welfare state thinking in the formation of the Scandinavian self-knowledge and cultural expression.
The programme introduces basic ideas of culture and society and the multiple relations between these, relevant for the Scandinavian area. The programme aims at establishing an overview on a broad field of culture and history, social, political, and marketing related conditions in Scandinavia in order to increase and vary your understanding of Scandinavian thinking today.
