The sports programme gives you many wide and different opportunities when you are to apply for a job. You may for example become a teacher in an upper secondary school. Your job opportunities depend on your course combination as well as your interests and other study activities.

- Municipal and/or county health related projects as manager and/or consultant
- Educational institutions where you will be working with and be taught in sports and health related courses
- Substitute for a year in an upper secondary school
- Teacher at a folk school
Teaching competences and professional postgraduate teacher training
To gain the right competences to teach sports in the upper secondary school and in the Higher Preparatory Examination Course you need a two year study programme in sports, as a minimum. This means that your time of study will be extended with ½ year, and the total amount of years will be 5 ½.
