Job Opportunities
In addition to more general competences such as the critical application of theories and concepts, the analytically guided answering of questions and oral and written presentation of a problem, the programme aims at giving students a deeper understanding of the complex nature of global transformations. Through the analytical distinction between political, cultural, religious and economic spheres, the programme provides its students with the necessary knowledge to address issues of globalization from different perspectives. In this way, the programme gives conceptual tools for dealing with global transformations in different occupational fields such as state administration, education, business or the media. Furthermore, the programme combines the general level with a specific regional perspective as well as case studies in order to learn to understand global developments in both regional and local dimensions. Thus, the courses offer students of the humanities and social sciences a supplementary education related to the major challenges of contemporary societies.
