Student definitions:
- Exchange student:
A student sent from a partner institution. The course credits are to be transferred to the degree studied in the home country.
- Guest student:
A student who does not come from a partner institution and thus is not a part of an exchange program. The course credits can still be transferred to the degree studied in the home country. A guest student pays tuition for the courses followed.
Entrance requirements – exchange students
- You are a full time student at a university in your home country
- You are nominated from your home university as part of our exchange agreement
- Your courses here must be transferred to the degree you study at your home university
- You must have English skills comparable to the Danish B level in English
- You can document your English skills by means of our language requirement form (link) or..
- You can document your English skills by means of your secondary school leaving certificate (min 210 hours at high school level) or..
- You can document your English skills with a TOEFL test score of min. 575/230/88 or IELTS test score of min 6.5 or a CAE test with a minimum result of C.
You are a full time student at a university in your home country
Exemption: You are exempt from documenting your English skills if your qualifying first degree (bachelor/undergraduate degree) was taken in the USA, Canada (English speaking program), Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom or Ireland or if you are a native speaker of English from one of these countries.

- You must have completed at least one year of university studies (i.e. 60 ECTS) in your home country
- You must pay tuition to enter the programme
- You must have English skills comparable to the Danish B level in English
- You can document your English skills by means of your secondary school leaving certificate (min 210 hours at high school level) or..
- You can document your English skills with a TOEFL test score of min 575/230/88 or IELTS test score of min 6.5 or a CAE test with a minimum result of C.

Test results
TOEFL: The test must be sent directly from the test center. The code is 7969.
IELTS: The University of Southern Denmark has access to the IELTS verification database; therefore we accept the result in copy.
