6 weeks/4 modules/15 ECTS
The University of Southern Denmark is a multi-campus university with facilities in many Danish cities.
This Summer University is hosted by the largest campus, located in Odense, the historical city on Funen which is the birthplace of world-renowned fairytale author Hans Christian Andersen. Odense is a lively and youth-oriented place with a vibrant cultural and social scene, and only a little more than an hour away from Copenhagen by rail or road. The six-week summer university program offers students the opportunity of earning 15 ECTS credits in this congenial and exciting environment.
The course presents the definitive cultural and social essentials of modern Denmark, famous for its challenging literature, design and television and filmmaking. The program provides a deeper insight into the interaction between national identity, cultural expression and the welfare society in this small but significant Scandinavian kingdom with its local character and global outreach.
