How to apply

• Choose the degree you wish to apply for
• Click on 'Apply now' (to the right) - type your mail and log on information is sent to your mail within a few seconds
• Fill in the electronic form
• If you apply for more than one degree programme, prioritize them
• Submit/upload all required enclosures (Please note that we DO NOT accept enclosure sent to us by regular mail)
• Submit/upload accommodation form for the relevant campus

Required enclosures:

To apply for a degree you MUST submit a number of enclosures. If you do not submit the relevant enclosures, we are not able to evaluate your application and the process will be delayed. You are required to upload the following:

• Copy of bachelor diploma in English* 
• Copy of official grade transcript in English 
• Explanation of the grading scale used in bachelor diploma and grade transcript
• Copies of detailed course descriptions (syllabus/literature) in English. The course descriptions should explain the content of the courses i.e. like a syllabus. It is very important that you include a curriculum which describes the literature that was used in the courses stating the title and author. If you print the course descriptions from your home university’s website, they don’t need to be certified. Just make sure that the URL address is visible on the print outs (Template for Course Description) 
• Documentation of English skills
• Letter of Attorney
• Copy of passport or identification card 
• Curriculum Vitae 

*If you have not passed your bachelor degree when applying, please send us your newest grade transcripts and state the date or month when you will finish your bachelor degree in the application form. As soon as you have received your Bachelor Diploma, please send us a certified copy by regular mail. 

Note that some programmes may require additional obligatory enclosures. Please consult the 'entry requirements' for the programme you wish to apply for.
Optional enclosures: 

• Application form for accommodation *If you apply for our Esbjerg campus, the accommodation form is sent to you when you are admitted. 
• Documentation for previous work experience 
• Documentation for other relevant qualifications
• Copy of residence permit if you are eligible for tuition fee exemption based on permanent residence in Denmark 

Process of becoming a degree student at master level


Residence permit
To study in Denmark for more than three months, you must apply for residence permit once you have been admitted. For non-EU citizens the process of getting a residence permit can be extremely long; it is thus very important that you apply for a residence permit as soon as you are admitted.
Non EU/EEA citizens pay an application fee when they apply for residence permit (and for extension of residence permit). For more information visit the Danish Immigration Service.
