If you are interested in annual accounts, financial management, auditing, fiscal law and commercial law the theoretical part of the registered public accountant education is right for you.
This education enables you to work as an auditor of private and public businesses and institutions.
Once you have passed the theoretical part of the registered public accountant education at the University of Southern Denmark, you may be recommended for the qualification examination for registered public accountants conducted by the union of registered public accountants (FRR Foreningen af Registrerede Revisorer).
To be recommended however, you are required to have at least three years worth of practical experience from a registered or chartered accountancy business.
This course has been prescribed to 1.5 years of full time study if you have already got a B.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration, a Diploma in Business Administration with accounting, a Diploma in Business Administration with financing or an M.Sc in Economics.
If you wish to become a chartered accountant, you are free to apply to the M.Sc in Business Economics and Auditing programme at any time.
