Entry requirements

Admission to the Master’s programme in Omics requires a completed Bachelor’s degree.

The following Bachelor’s degrees qualify for the Master’s programme in Omics:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Southern Denmark
• Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology/Chemistry from the University of Southern Denmark
• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedicine from the University of Southern Denmark
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from the University of Southern Denmark and University of Copenhagen
• Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from the Technical University of Denmark 
• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Biomedicine from the Technical University of Denmark
• Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Medicine from Aarhus University 
• Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology from Aarhus University 
• Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from Aarhus University
• Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Aarhus University
• Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Copenhagen
• Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Biotechnology from the University of Copenhagen
• Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biomedicine from the University of Copenhagen 
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology from the University of Copenhagen
• Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from the University of Copenhagen
• Bachelor’s degree in Biology from a Chinese university

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from a Chinese university, supplemented with additional individual evaluated knowledge within the area of molecular bioscience
• Other Bachelor degrees within the area of Science and Health Science grounded on individual evaluation

Applicants must be able to supply documentation of upper secondary/high school English consistent with a TOEFL test score of minimum 575/230/88, or a IELTS test score of minimum 6.5, or a CAE with a minimum of C, or CPE (CAE or CPE are only excepted from Cambridge Network or University of Michigan).

In order to assess the professional and technical skills, motivation, expectations and as well as English skills, all applicants will be interviewed prior to admission. Grade point average and the interview will each count 50 % at admission.
