The combination of classical engineering disciplines and a systemic approach provides you with the necessary academic skills for the environmental engineer. Some of these skills can be seen below:

If you choose an academic profile in Aquatic Environment you will become a specialist in environmental modelling and in the restoration of aquatic systems such as streams, rivers, lakes and groundwater reservoirs as well as in advanced wastewater and groundwater treatment.
You become the one who can apply existing analytical tools and techniques to locate the optimal solution. Moreover, you will be able to develop and implement new models to come up with a technological solution to, for example, restore a lake or clean up current pollution.
Your knowledge also allows you to help restore environmental damage elsewhere in the world.
