The master programme in European Studies supplies knowledge which, within European Studies, especially regional studies, is based on the highest international research within a field of study. The graduate is able to understand and, on a scientific basis, reflect on the knowledge of the field/fields of study and be able to identify scientific issues of relevance
Skills
The graduate can, in a qualified manner, select and apply scientific methods and theories for the collection and analysis of data for description and complex analysis of specific problems within a company, public or private institution, as well as theoretical issues related to these areas. The graduate can set up new models of analysis and solutions for problems based on the performed analysis. The graduate can communicate her/his knowledge and discuss professional and scientific issues with colleagues, management, politicians and the surrounding society.
Competences
A MSc in European Studies has gained substantial competencies within the broad field of the Europe of Regions. She/he will be able to manage work and development situations that are complex, unpredictable and require new models for solutions. Graduates can independently initiate and implement professional and interdisciplinary cooperation and take on professional responsibility. Graduates can independently take responsibility for own professional development and specialization. Graduates will be able to find occupation and job opportunities within a wide range of both public and private institutions such as international and national bodies, agencies, consultants, organisations or companies working with both European and regional areas of activities.
