The first year of the programme consists of course work, and the second year is taken up by an independent research project leading to a dissertation. The entire programme, including the course work, will be decided upon on an individual basis based on the application, in cooperation with the future thesis advisor, which will be a member of one of the department's research groups. The degree qualifies the graduate for business/industrial positions and further PhD studies.
The courses in the programme will be taught entirely in English.

PhD programme
If your desire and abilities suffice, you can choose to apply for a research degree. This can be either as a 3-year programme following the master’s programme or as a 4-year programme beginning a year after the bachelor programme. The research programme leads to a PhD in science.
