The focus area of the profile is Management of People. This profile will expand the graduates’ competencies in contemporary management and organization that enable students to develop structured and principled insights regarding the salient issues of managing people. Its contents represent state-of-the-art in management and organization research and practice. Candidates from this profile will have greater knowledge within the main subjects that are especially relevant for this profile; Human Resource Management and Personnel Economics. Finally, the graduate will gain competences as regards to corporate staff functions, general or human resource management, and consulting. The profile is particularly suitable for candidates who want to pursue a career in the field of human resource management. The profile develops candidates’ theoretical and practical skills that enable them to take charge of key management functions and projects in human resource management. The graduate has gained competences in the ability to think in principled ways about the key policies and choices of recruiting and retaining talent, and how to apply their skills in the design of policies and programs.
