The focus area of the profile is International Business and Marketing. Students on this programme will gain greater knowledge within the main subjects in: Foundations of International Business, International Marketing Channels, Marketing across Culture, International Market Relations, Globalization Processes, New Market Development & Innovation.
Knowledge and skills
The programme includes different aspects of marketing, retailing, services, business to business, marketing research as well as modules on other functional areas that influence management decisions in marketing. Furthermore, the student will acquire skills in using methods and tools which can support a career in marketing, sales, advertising or media related jobs.
You will gain competences in analyzing rules and regulations imposed by governments in order to pursue careers in a number of areas including market research, imports, consultancy, exporting services marketing, direct marketing and distribution management. Finally, you will gain knowledge about and skills in using methods which can support a career in international or domestic markets, whether that means working with a large multi-national company, a smaller company, or even new ventures.
