(Bracketed figures indicate number of ECTS credits)
Basically, the study programme comprises seven core moduls including a temaproject and three elective moduls. The core moduls are made up of five theoretical subjects (10 ECTS each) and one methodological modul (5 ECTS). All compulsory subjects and the project assignments take place in the 1st and 2nd semester. The project assignments (5 ECTS each) are carried out within a topic announced by the board of studies and that theoretically belongs within the framework of the three subjects taking place in the semester in question. One of the projects is in the form of teamwork; the other is an individual assignment. The time fixed for project work is a fairly short period –1-1½ months towards the end of the semester when the three other subjects should be concluded.
Elective moduls (10 ECTS each) are offered during the 3rd semester, and you are free to choose any three of these. One of the elective subjects can be replaced by a company project, for which there are special regulations. They can also be replaced by courses of study and examinations of the same scope at some other university. This may be a foreign university – if approved in advance by the board of studies.
Attention is drawn to the fact that if starting in February, the choice of elective subjects during the third semester will be very limited and the number of teaching hours in these elective subjects will also be reduced in relation to the normal course of studies for students starting in September.
