The focus area of the profile is Change Management. Master with this profile will therefore have expanded their knowledge within subjects that are relevant for this as the central modules is Advanced Change Management, and in addition to this Human Resource Management, Industrial Sociology and Management, Organizational Psychology and Project Management. From these modules the master has acquired the most recent scientifically based knowledge about change processes in organizations, the interplay between managers and employees, factors that promote and inhibit organizational change and especially management opportunities and pitfalls in change processes.
Further, the master has knowledge about and skills in using methods which can support change processes and drive them forward, among other things a module in Advanced Social Sciences Methodology, including evaluation theory.
The master has the competence to independently and on a scientific basis to initiate, plan, implement and evaluate major and minor change projects in companies and organizations, as well as to monitor and maintain more ongoing processes of change.
