The focus area of the profile is management of Business in Europe. The European Union is increasingly gaining in importance for the management of organizations doing business in Europe and managing their global operations from Europe. Business activity in Europe takes place within the context of a common European historical, cultural and social background and within common political, legal and economic frameworks.
The profile in European Business Management provides students with an advanced understanding of the European business environment by developing cross-European perspectives on business combined with a deep understanding of the different national and cultural contexts in which firms operate. Finally, the student will gain competences in operating in European cultures since it is mandatory to live in another European country for 2 (two) semesters.
