B.Sc. in Business Administration
A complete undergraduate degree in Business Administration (B.Sc.) (approx. 3 years of study at university level, which is roughly equivalent to a Danish Bachelor Degree).
The main field of the undergraduate degree must include courses within the following areas:
- Economics
- Accounting and Finance
- Statistics and Quantitative Methods
- Marketing
- Organization Theory
For example the Danish Bachelor Degrees mentioned below will meet the entry requirements to the Profile Strategic entrepreneurship:
- Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business Administration (Den erhvervsøkonomiske bacheloruddannelse (HA)) or a HA-combination degree.
- Bachelor of Science in International Commerce and Modern Languages (SPRØK)
- Bachelor of Arts in Business, Language and Culture (BA Negot.)
- Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (HD baggrund). Graduate Diploma in Business Administration gives access to the Profile by passing additional exams specified by the Academic Board of Business Administration in Kolding.
- Another relevant Danish or foreign degree at the same level.
The University may admit applicants, who do not meet the requirements, but who, based on a specific assessment, are considered to have educational qualifications equivalent to the above-mentioned. The University may require that the applicant passes additional exams.
Entry requirements for foreign students
A complete undergraduate degree in Business Administration (approx. 3 years of study at university level, which is equivalent to a Danish Bachelor Degree. This undergraduate degree must include courses within the following area
- Business Economics: Minimum of 30 ECTS
- Socio-Economics (including Microeconomics): Minimum of 10 ECTS
- Quantitative or Qualitative research methods and statistics (Social Sciences): Minimum of 15 ECTS
- Communication & Culture: Minimum of 5 ECTS
- Forein Languages: English; Minimum of 14 ECTS, German; Minimum of 20 ECTS
As a minimum applicants should enclose descriptions of their course work including the following terms: Aim of the course, main topics, the year’s workload/ECTS, and literature.
