Why choose SDU
When asked why they chose to spend a semester at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU), our exchange students usually give the following reasons:
- Many courses are taught in English
- Teaching quality
- Teaching methods such as problem and project based learning
- Possibility to improve my language skills
- The university was recommended by fellow students at my home university who had been here as exchange students themselves
International study environment
SDU has more than 200 partners around the world and receives more than 500 exchange and guest students each year – and about half of them study at the Faculty of Engineering. This provides you with a truly international environment that is geared to a lot of the special needs you have as an exchange student.
Our study environment is informal and we strive to prepare our students for the real world through interdisciplinary, problem-oriented work in teams and close cooperation with companies.
